Babywearing yoga – restorative floor practice
This week has been rough. I don’t know what’s going on with Rory but he does not want to be anywhere but on me.
I could blame it on teeth. Or the slight sniffle. Or the fact that he desperately wants to walk but can’t. But fact is – I really don’t know what the problem is. Maybe it’s just his job to send me mental – who knows?
I don’t think I’ve gone to the toilet without him all week. Even if I try to distract him with something and duck to another room, he storms after me. (You might think ‘storming’ is not possible for someone who can only crawl, but I beg to differ. Boy is DETERMINED!)
Anyway… We’ve weathered this week with a LOT of babywearing. So I thought it was a good time to share this babywearing yoga practice. It’s roughly 20 minutes, so it’s perfect if you have a cat-napper like mine.
I’ve gone back to the unstructured baby carrier for this video. I find the wrap style carriers are easier to manage when working on the floor and Rory seems to stay asleep even when I’m sitting. Of course you can still practice with a sling or structured carrier – or practice with them awake and it won’t even matter.
If you want more of these classes subscribe to my Youtube channel to be the first to see the videos when they come out each week.
