Positive stories after infertility

If you’re struggling today, I hope these positive stories after infertility help to bring you a little hope. All of these women have worked with me in some way, whether in a 1:1, through taking my course, or being a part of my Online Yoga Circle. Receiving these emails is literally why I keep doing this work.

Also wanted to say thank you while I’m emailing you! After a long journey of losing an ovary to a cyst, IVF and a miscarriage we now have a gorgeous little 4 month old boy 😊 Your yoga and meditation got me through the IVF cycles and early pregnancy and made me feel like there was hope!

I’ve not been very good at the post partum yoga but will try to pick it up again soon.

I have been wanting to thank you for so many years for the tools that you empower women (and couples) with during their pregnancy journeys! You, your videos, and your story have empowered me – and I genuinely thank you.
Between August of 2018 through May of 2019, my husband and I experienced 3 miscarriages… which were each devastating. On my recovery journey, I found you on YouTube – which was such a blessing to me.
A combination of surgery, your yoga, prayer/meditation and love allowed my husband and I to have a healthy baby boy.

I’m sure you get lots of emails and I hope this one finds you well. You don’t know me but I’ve been an avid follower of yours for the last several years. My partner and I were struggling with infertility and while I had often found comfort in yoga, during  my struggles to try to get pregnant I was soured by the constant toxic positivity in the yoga space. When I came across your channel your honesty and genuine care shone through in your practice and allowed me to lean into the “what ifs” and feel supported by someone who had been in my position. It truly always felt like you were holding space for your followers.

You were a part of my 4 year journey to conceive my daughter. 3 IUIs, 1 retrieval and 1 transfer. I felt like every time I was about to climb some fertility mountain you’d have a practice for that thing: taking a break, getting ready for retrieval, prepping for that first ultrasound.

Anyway I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart and introduce you to my Daughter Marie, born through IVF – a perfect blend of science, acupuncture, yoga, therapy, and community support. You were a special part of getting her here.

Thank you thank you thank you, from the other side of the world 💓

In case you’re new around here and haven’t heard my story before, I thought I would also add this video above. 3 years on, I still thank my lucky stars every day that I didn’t give up when it got really hard.

If you’re feeling like it’s all too hard and you’re not sure how to keep going, I just want to encourage you to take a break. Look after yourself. Reach out for the support that you need, but don’t give up.
