Yoga with kids – yoga to burn off energy

You know those days when you’ve been cooped up inside and by 3pm, everyone is going a little stir crazy?

 

The kids are bouncing off the couch (and the walls) and you’re so exhausted you can’t even be bothered telling them not to anymore!?

 

This sequence is for those days. This is yoga to burn off hypo energy and let it be said, kids aren’t the only ones who get it.

 

I’m talking about that restless energy that has you looking in the pantry for the thousandth time just in case something new and worthy of eating has appeared. Or the energy that has you flitting from task to task so quickly that you don’t actually achieve anything other than moving things around.  Just me you say?  Fine… let’s pretend I don’t do those things either.

 

Either way if you join in on this practice I guarantee you’ll be feeling good and you won’t be needing that glass of red to unwind today. (You may still have it of course, you just won’t need it.)
