Thankful.
I’ve never celebrated Thanksgiving before but after sampling 6 different types of pie whilst chatting to lovely Brisbane bloggers, I have to say, it might be my new favourite holiday.
Caitlin from Mother Down Under organised the meet up and whilst I’m not a Brisbane blogger, I like to crash their parties because let’s face it… pie. Not not really, Caitlin and I co-manage the Australian bloggers Facebook community Aussie Blogs to Love, so it’s always good to have an excuse to catch up.
So in the spirit of thanksgiving I thought tonight I’d give you what I’m thankful for.
I am thankful for friends who let you sample all of their beautiful homemade pies when all you have supplied is drinks. I know, enough with the pies! I’m moving on, I promise…
I am thankful for those who stepped in to help me with Eamon this week when I was completely down and out with the flu.
I am thankful for friends, new and old.
I am thankful for this little guy who for a few moments in the day is still my baby but is hurtling towards boy-dom at a frightening pace.

I am thankful for family, near and far.
And finally, I am so very thankful for the friendships and community I have found through blogging.
So tell me, what are you thankful for?
Lovely post Bettina!
I am so glad that I got to catch up with you and all the others today…and I am still so full!
I know I’m a bit behind everyone else, but it was great to meet you and your little man the other day (gosh, how fast do kiddos grow??). Beautiful post, I hope I have the pleasure of seeing you around again.
Sooooo sad I missed it!
