Simple Mother’s Day Ceramic DIY
My creativity has been pretty lacking recently. I wanted to make something super simple for Mother’s day that wouldn’t take very long and wouldn’t involve trying to find materials that are bound to be hidden under a huge pile of boxes in the garage.
I picked up this ceramic dish for $4 and spent about $12 on ceramic pens from spotlight. Half an hour of drawing later I had the flowers complete.
The best part about these pens is that if you make a mistake you can just wipe it off and go again (as long as you don’t wait for them to dry).
If you are keeping the dish for decoration you only need to let them dry for 72 hours, otherwise you can bake it in the oven to make it washable.
Now all I need to do is find the perfect dessert recipe to go with it. Suggestions?
