So this might sound crazy. But what if there was a reason for your infertility? What if your infertility was trying to tell you something?
If you’re in the thick of fertility challenges you may not want to hear this. Hell, I know I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to.
After our three losses I didn’t want to hear that there might be a reason why we lost our three babies. I certainly didn’t want to know about it being a part of a bigger purpose or want to know about there being an important lesson in there somewhere that I had to learn.
Honestly, I wanted to scream – ‘But why the F*** did I have to go through THAT to learn it.’ Surely there is another way?
And hey, maybe there is. I don’t know. I just know, that eventually I started to see that there were some really important lessons that did come from all of this, for us. And maybe there is a lesson in the struggle for you too?
What if your infertility was trying to tell you it’s time to slow down. To stop pushing and hustling and working so damn hard. What if it were asking you to wake up and notice all the amazing things you already have in your life? What if you were being asked to change direction, make better choices, to go the other way.
I can’t tell you what the lesson is for you, but perhaps some of these questions below will help prompt you with a meaningful answer for you.
Questions for you to consider –
What is stressing you out at the moment?
Where in your life are you doing too much?
What can you stop doing? (Delegate, hire someone to do it, quit it altogether?
Where does like feel like you’re pushing and hustling?
What feels like hard work? Does it need to be?
What do you need to let go of? (People, activities, ideas)
What is calling for your attention? (Your health? Your partner? Your friendships?)
